Dinosaurs - they ruled the earth for millions of years. To this day, they are the most admired creatures of young and old, populate museums, books, films and our imagination - the descendants of dragons and monsters from the distant past.
They were only discovered by researchers around 200 years ago. In 1841, the name "dinosaur" - terrible lizard - was coined for them. But why do the images we make of them resemble the millennia-old dragons? Maybe the dinosaurs never died out after all? Paleontologists have now set themselves the goal of driving out the mystical aura from the objects from legends in the laboratory and drawing a new picture of the mighty reptiles. Together with researchers from Germany and Tanzania we go in search of the primeval giants.
